Racine – Rayven L. Griffin; age 13; a sweet young girl who loved singing, dancing and gymnastics and had aspirations of someday becoming a famous actress/singer; passed away unexpectedly in an accident at Island Park on Friday, August 26, 2016.

Surviving are her dad & mom, Willie Ray Griffin and Amanda Galkowski; devoted aunt & foster mom, Jelois Griffin; brothers & sisters, Jasmine Galkowski, Deandre Smith, Alexandria Kirksey, Rayna Griffin, Makayla Ducksworth, Adriana Gordon and Johanna Gordon; grandmother, Barbara Ann Griffin; step-grandmother, Kyra Griffin; special aunties, Seles Jackson, Jacara Griffin, Shawn Hunter, Nicolet Smith and Tanisha Strong; special uncles, Matthew Strong, Brian Smith and Larry "Terrell" Griffin favorite cousin, Jaydah Griffin; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends – too numerous to mention all of name. Rayven was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Willie Lee Griffin and maternal grandparents, Penelope & Gregory Galkowski.

Funeral services will be held at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1123 Center Street, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11:00 am with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby officiating. Viewing will be in the church on Wednesday from 10-11 am.
