Obituary

Rhonda Lavette Gordon was born on December 11, 1978 in Memphis, TN to Gertrude Gordon and Alfreddie Joplin. In 1989, she moved to Racine, WI. She was a working and loving mother of three children. Rhonda enjoyed dancing, listening to music, cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family. Rhonda leaves to cherish her memory, Keshari Gordon, Ka'liesa Mason, Key'juan Robinson, Samontae Jackson, Somayah Jackson, Linda Wilson, Wanda Joplin Villarrell (Nani), Pamela Joplin, Jamie Gordon (Veronica), Patrick Gordon, Tarvis Gordon, Alishia Gordon Gister, Floyd Cooper and Shandrika Gordon, all of Racine, WI. Charlene Lewis of Rantoul, IL, Antonio Baker and Antinika Joplin of Turrell, AR; and daughter-in-law, Monika Larry. She leaves three grandkids, Zekharria McClain, Keshari Gordon, Jr. and Kemari Gordon. Rhonda will also be remembered by her favorite nieces, Amiyia Koker, Laniyia Wilson, Tylicia Gister, Marikiss Matthews and Renessa Joplin; her favorite nephews, Rakeem Slack and Enrick Morgan, Jr.; her favorite uncle, Ralph Slack; her pooh's, Robert Ellis and Trina Reed; her best friends, Brandy Clark, Bobbie East, Melissa Gister and Claudette Jackson from Mississippi; her proteges, Sharita Williams and Terivia Tyler; special friends, Lakeisha Jackson, Lashanda Gray and Jameshia Judon; special cousin, Aleisha Baugh (Little); and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kadejah Gordon; one sister, Shanda Barnes; one brother, Cedrick Gordon.

Service for Rhonda will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 11:00AM at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Her family will meet with guests from 10:00AM until the time of service.
