Richard "Griff" Griffith, 74, passed away at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna, WI on Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was born in Milwaukee on June 23, 1936 the son of the late William and Mary (McCormick) Griffith.

Following his graduation from high school, Richard attended St. Francis Minor Seminary in Milwaukee. He served his country with the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, in Racine and served on the Human Concerns Committee, Richard was a member of the West Allis Knights of Columbus Council #3095 and the  Msgr. Arnold Assembly #1307, where he served on the Honor Guard.

Surviving are his sisters, Mary Patricia "Pat" Lee, of Litchfield, CT, and Jane (Bob) Varick, of Appleton, WI, and special friend, Ellen Huck, of Racine. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive him.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St., Racine, on Monday, December 20 ^th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. William J. Dietzler officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday, December 19 ^th , from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and in the church on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Private burial will take place in the Annunciation Cemetery, Randolph, WI. The family has

suggested memorials to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
