Obituary

Richard James Kucharski, 56, known to all as Rick, passed away on January 24, 2020.  He was born in Racine on August 16, 1963, son of James and Nancy (Née: Tutak) Kucharski.

Rick was united in marriage to the love of his wife, the former Sandra Lynn Warner, on November 14, 1981, at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church in Racine.

Rick graduated from Park High School in 1981.  He was a machinist first for the Dumore Corporation and then for Beere Precision Products until his retirement.

Rick loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed spending time "up north" in Freemont, Yellow Lake, and Rhinelander.  He was an avid fisherman and really enjoyed ice fishing.  Rick loved his honey hole at Wind Lake (where they never caught any fish).  He was a sports fan of all Wisconsin sports teams.  Above all, he treasured his family and loved being a proud grandpa.

Rick leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of over 38 years, Sandi Kucharski; daughter, Katie-Lynne (Kevin) Schneider; son, Jeremy (Sharon) Kucharski; grandchildren, Marley, Aiden, Colson; parents, James and Nancy Kucharski; sister, Debbie (Dave) Kruger; brother, Michael (Joyce) Kucharski; father-in-law, Jerry Warner; sisters-in-law, Renee (Brian) Bangart, Melissa (Chris) Condon; brother-in-law, Bob (Kim) Braun; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Rick is preceded in death by his mother-In-law, Kathy Warner; and his beloved grandmother, Harriet Tutak.

A celebration of Ricks life will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2019, 6:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Rev. Javier Guativa officiating.  Visitation will be from 3:00pm until the time of the service.

The family would like to extend a heart-felt "Thank You" to Dr. Joel Niebuhr and the entire ICU staff at Ascension – All Saints for the care given to Rick during this difficult time.
