It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Lee Kralicek, lovingly known to friends and family as Dick, on August 7, 2025. Born in Racine, Wisconsin, on February 2, 1942, Dick lived a full and vibrant life until the age of 83. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Jamine “Jamie” Kralicek, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dick was a man who embraced life with passion and joy. His love for coin collecting was a defining aspect of his character; he had an impressive collection, with silver coins and Morgan dollars among his favorites. He was often seen with a gleam in his eye as he explored the world around him, hunting for treasures with his metal detector, always in search of the next find.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Dick cherished his time in service, and one of his most treasured memories was the day he was able to participate in an Honor Flight, honoring fellow veterans and the camaraderie they shared. This experience stood as a testament to his love for his country and the values he held dear.

In addition to his pursuits of coins and adventure, Dick had a remarkable talent for photography. Many sought him out for his ability to beautifully capture special moments, whether it was weddings, anniversaries, or family gatherings, leaving a legacy of cherished memories for those he loved.

Dick was a staunch supporter of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers; he wore his loyalty proudly, often sharing his excitement (and disappointment) as their games unfolded. In the spirit of his beloved teams, he taught us to celebrate every victory and find laughter even in defeat.

Dick leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Jamie Kralicek; daughters, Debbie (Shane) Slifka, Dawn (Tony) Dreyer, Diana (Terry) Walls; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Stark, Margaret Kralicek; sister-in-law, Darla (Ernie) Duffey; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends too numerous to mention.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Gloria Kralicek; brothers, Robert Kralicek, Charles Kralicek; and brother-in-law, Lamont Rommel.

We invite friends, family, and loved ones to join us for a funeral service in honor of Richard Lee Kralicek at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on August 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM. A public viewing will take place beforehand, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, allowing all who knew him to pay their respects and share in the memories that brought joy to his life. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

As we gather together, let us celebrate a life rich with adventures, passions, and love. Though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit and the memories we share will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Dick; you have left an indelible mark on the lives of many.

Testimonials

June 24, 2020

Can’t thank Gary and you all enough for our fathers funeral arrangements (Victor Joseph Morris) June 18th, 2020.
He would have been SO proud. So many little personal details that we were not even expecting, totally overwhelmed us. From the pamphlets to the thank-you notes and copies of the video, to the beautiful casket picture and arrangement. Pop looked as proud as he was in life. And thanks also to the very cooperative and helpful staff. We thought it would take much longer to knock this all out at our one and only meeting with Gary. We did not want to overlook, or forget to give our heartfelt thanks for such wonderful service at such a horrible time in our lives.
God Bless,
Bob Morris
