It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Lee Kralicek, lovingly known to friends and family as Dick, on August 7, 2025. Born in Racine, Wisconsin, on February 2, 1942, Dick lived a full and vibrant life until the age of 83. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Jamine “Jamie” Kralicek, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Dick was a man who embraced life with passion and joy. His love for coin collecting was a defining aspect of his character; he had an impressive collection, with silver coins and Morgan dollars among his favorites. He was often seen with a gleam in his eye as he explored the world around him, hunting for treasures with his metal detector, always in search of the next find.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Dick cherished his time in service, and one of his most treasured memories was the day he was able to participate in an Honor Flight, honoring fellow veterans and the camaraderie they shared. This experience stood as a testament to his love for his country and the values he held dear.
In addition to his pursuits of coins and adventure, Dick had a remarkable talent for photography. Many sought him out for his ability to beautifully capture special moments, whether it was weddings, anniversaries, or family gatherings, leaving a legacy of cherished memories for those he loved.
Dick was a staunch supporter of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers; he wore his loyalty proudly, often sharing his excitement (and disappointment) as their games unfolded. In the spirit of his beloved teams, he taught us to celebrate every victory and find laughter even in defeat.
Dick leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Jamie Kralicek; daughters, Debbie (Shane) Slifka, Dawn (Tony) Dreyer, Diana (Terry) Walls; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Stark, Margaret Kralicek; sister-in-law, Darla (Ernie) Duffey; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends too numerous to mention.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Gloria Kralicek; brothers, Robert Kralicek, Charles Kralicek; and brother-in-law, Lamont Rommel.
