Ricky Jones was born in Racine, Wisconsin on December 18, 1958, an only son to the late Lorraine Jones and the late Richard Crugar.  He departed this life on February 3, 2019 in his residence.

He graduated from J.I. Case High School in 1977.  After high school Ricky joined the United States Naval Academy to proudly serve his country and Fellowman. Following his honorable discharge he continued his dreams in law and enrolled in Peoples college of Law in Los Angeles, California.

Ricky met and fell in love with Terri Lambert Jones in 1979 and after a period of courtship leading to falling in love, they married on March 21, 1981. Ricky worked as a Union Iron worker for many years. He loved the thrill of climbing, being a part of big projects and showing off his many talents.. He thought of his work assignment as being on top of the world. He was the least afraid of heights. He build Bridges and tall buildings all over the United States and took pride in his work for over 20 years until he became injured in a car accident in 2016. After his injuries he continued to expand his education with thoughts of returning back to law school even thoughts of illustrating project from home..  Nothing could stop him. Ricky never gave up. He demanded his independence, prayed for his Children, and continued to be positive up beat and if u knew Ricky his same ole’ self..

Ricky lived his life to the fullest and had a big and giving heart. He was encouraging and always looked at the positive things that came out of life. Ricky loved the Lord. In, fact he practice ministry in the early years of his life from 1981 until 1983 at Second Baptist where he studied theology under Pastor Davis and decade his life to the Lord.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed traveling the most, also fixing things around the house, watching sports on the television, but most of all calling to check on his children..  Now he is walking with Jesus. “take up your cross and follow me”, saith the Lord…

Ricky Jones leaves to celebrate his life Terri Lambert Jones his wife of 40 years, three children he loved and adored dearly, Justin X, Richard Jarves, and Tara Lorraine as well as nine grandchildren and a host of in-laws, cousins and friends. He loved all his children equally and would give his last to make them happy.

Testimonials

Thank you from Raymond Szymanski Family

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family
