MOUNT PLEASANT – Mr. Robert E. Baggott, 77, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

He was born in Racine on February 9, 1948, the son of the late Robert and Marcella (nee Leavy) Baggott.  He graduated from St. Catherine's High School and received his teaching degree from UW Parkside.  Bob also served with the Army National Guard.

Bob was an avid golfer, playing locally whenever he could, as well as traveling with his golf buddies.  He also enjoyed cheering for the Chicago Cubs.

He is survived by his sister, Bridget (Hans) Weitkuhn; his brother-in-law, Dave Barden; as well as dear nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by sisters, Jane (Richard) Witt, and Jean Barden.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, for a visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  A service celebrating and honoring his life will take place at 11:00 am.   His interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
