Robert Bravo, 60, passed away on February 11, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Mount Pleasant. He was born on November 11, 1965, in Michigan to his loving mother, Mary ( nee: Chiarello).

Robert spent most of his childhood in Wisconsin before making Las Vegas his home for 30 years. Las Vegas was where he built his career as a DJ at KOMP Radio Station. Robert was known for his deep passion for music, especially 70s and 80s rock. His phenomenal memory for songs, artists, stories, and trivia made him a natural and a favorite among many listeners.

Beyond music, Robert had a lifelong love of cars and could often be found admiring, talking about, or reminiscing over his favorites. He had a remarkable gift for storytelling and an incredible sense of humor. Robert loved making people laugh and took great joy in putting smiles on the faces of those around him. His quick wit and unforgettable stories will be cherished by all who knew him.

Robert had a huge heart and cared deeply for his community. He was compassionate, generous, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Above all, he had a deep love for his family. His heart of gold and unwavering devotion to those he loved defined his life more than anything else.

He is survived by his sister, Michele Irby; his brothers, John Bravo (Cris) and Richard Gurak; his niece, Jessica (Dominic) Casolaro; his nephew, Tyler (Amber) Irby; his great-nieces and nephews, Giovani, Lily, and Oliver; many beloved cousins; and last but certainly not least, his loyal service dog, Stonewall.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Gurak-Medford; his stepfather, Richard Gurak; and his grandparents, Giovanni and Concetta.

At this time, no formal services are scheduled. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Robert will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend—a gifted storyteller, a lover of rock and roll, a car enthusiast, and a man whose laughter and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the music he loved, the stories he shared, and the countless lives he touched.
