Robert E. Schoeffler, 92, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at Harvest Home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. He was born in Racine on August 25, 1933, the son of the late Fred and Rose (nee: Gillard) Schoeffler.
On November 28, 1953, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Pauline Eve Pravda. Sadly, she preceded him in death on November 11, 2015.
Mr. Schoeffler was a longtime employee of S.C. Johnson and Son. He was a member of the J.M.B.A. and the Johnson 20 Year Club. He was an avid golfer and for many years played 16” softball. Playing for several teams including the Eagle Hotel and Nelson Welding. Mr. Schoeffler was fastidious concerning the appearance of his lawn, removing each leaf as soon as it fell.
Surviving are his three children, Roger (Deb) Schoeffler, of Mt. Pleasant, WI, Ronald (Peggy) Schoeffler, of Lavalle, WI, and Paula (Chuck) Rorek, of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren, Matthew (Sadie) Schoeffler, Samantha Isbell, Steven (Nicole) Saavedra, and Ryan Saavedra; three great grandchildren, Reese Saavedra, Lacey Saavedra, and Grayson Saavedra; and sister, Sandra Dower, of Mt. Pleasant. His nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, and two brothers-in-law, Clara (Jerry) Brown, Honey Lou Mieczkowski, and Dave Dower; and brother, sister-in-law, Fred (Eleanor) Schoeffler.
