Racine– Robert D. Fink, Jr., 59, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center on Sunday, September 9, 2012 after suffering a heart attack.

Robert was born in Racine on April 8, 1953 to the late Robert and Audrey (nee: Baxter) Fink, Sr. He graduated from Washington Park High School in 1971, where he was a member of the football team and elected Prom King.

On January 17, 2008 he was united in marriage with Natalia "Tasha" Fink. Bob has been a lifelong employee of Case (CNH) where he was a member of the Case 20 Year Club and was anxiously awaiting his well- deserved upcoming retirement.  Bob also dedicated his time in the 1970's serving as an EMT and Firefighter with the Sturtevant Volunteer Fire Department.

Bob enjoyed sports and spent several years on numerous bowling and softball teams.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing on trips up north and could be found a time or two at Potawatomi Casino. Bob loved the tranquility of being at home working on puzzles and looked forward to woodworking when he retired.   Above all, Bob loved and cherished the time he spent with his children when they would visit for a cookout, a holiday, or to join him in cheering on his beloved team The Green Bay Packers.  He was truly happiest when in the surroundings of his entire family – including his canine companion "Murphy" and will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Surviving are his wife, Tasha; children, Tony (Dayna) Navarro, Bobby Navarro, Stephanie Fink, Robert Fink and Faylene Fink; step-son, Nikita Shchankin; his grandson (of whom was the apple of Grandpa's eye), Nicholas Navarro; brothers, Jack (Cheryl) Fink and Rick (Nancy) Fink; sister, Kathy Fink; former wife and friend, Marlene Fink and longtime friend, Jason Rosko; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.

A memorial service celebrating Bob's life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with a luncheon to follow. Private interment will be held in West Lawn Memorial Park. In memory of Bob, memorials to the American Heart Association have been suggested.

The family wishes to send out a heartfelt note of thanks to the doctors and entire staff at Wheaton Franciscan Cardiovascular ICU for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
