Addison, Illinois – Robert "Rob" Hansen, age 41 formerly of Racine and Milwaukee, passed away at home on Friday, April 17, 2015.

Robert was a gentle and kind-heart man who pleasured in helping others wherever he could. He was very proud of his family, and always appreciated his time spent with them. His sense of humor and practical jokes always made it fun to have him around. Robert worked as a CNC operator in Racine, Milwaukee, and in Illinois. After a long day he enjoyed quiet time, playing video games, and social events with many of his friends. He'll be dearly missed.

Robert is survived by his wife Lolita Hansen of Addison, Illinois; his daughter in Texas, Mariaah; former step-sons Cory and Matt; step-son Bobby; mother, Marianne (Michael) LaCanne; and father, Jack (Bernita) Hansen both of Racine. He is further survived by his brother, Shaun LaCanne; nephew, Damien LaCanne; grandmother, Genevieve LaCanne, all of Racine; Aunts, Linda (Andy) Brown of Racine, Debbie (Rod) Fergus of St Paul, MN, Sandy Fergus (godmother) of Racine, Patty(Al) Thomas of Presque Isle, WI; Uncles, Steve (Anne) LaCanne, Dennis LaCanne all of Racine; mother-in-law Mary Miller in Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Mona (Troy) Butcher in Michigan, Penny Miller of Milwaukee, and Kim Miller in Illinois; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Elaine Fergus, and Richard LaCanne; father-in-law Leon King; Uncle Richard N Fergus; and cousins Tony Adams and Jason Zygowski.

A memorial service for Robert will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 9, 2015 with Rev. Glenn Moore Jr. and Rev. Armand Madlangdayan officiating. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 12 pm.
