RACINE AND HAINES CITY, FL – Mr. Robert L. Krencisz, 78, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in Lakeland, FL on May 1, 2020.

He was born in Racine on January 18, 1942, the son of the late Robert "Red" and Josephine (nee: Bernhardt) Krencisz.   On June 22, 1963 he married Rosemary Consiglero.

Bob retired from the City of Racine after many years as a truck mechanic and later garage supervisor.  He and Rosemary were Florida snowbirds the past 20 years.  They were involved with the Soap Box Derby in Racine for over 30 years and enjoyed the outdoors together; scuba diving, camping, boating, snowmobiling and water skiing.  Bob also loved hill climbing competitions with his motorcycles.  While in Racine they attended St. Richard Catholic Church and belonged to the Harbor Lite Yacht Club and the Winter Haven Nautical Club in Florida.

In addition to his loving wife Rosemary, Bob is survived by his daughters and sons, Diane (Brad) Barbee of Lannon, WI, Robert (Karen Pauer) Krencisz, Jr. of Sturtevant, Daniel Krencisz of Racine, Ginnie (David) Lucier of Racine and Tracy Dunn of St. Francis.  He is further survived by fifteen grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; his sisters and brother, Diane (Ron) Leach, Richard (Doloris) Krencisz, Susan (Carl) Johnson, Sandra Krencisz; his sisters-in-law, Frances Matranga and Pat Consiglero; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Bob was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law's, Joe and John Consiglero.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, June 13, 2020 for a visitation from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.  A private service remembering and celebrating Bob's life will follow at 5:00 p.m. In accordance with Racine County mandate, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time.  You may be required to wait outside until others leave the building.  For the safety and security of our guests we also require those in attendance to bring and wear a face covering.  We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time .   Memorials in Bob's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
