RACINE – Robert Jesse (Larsen) Itzenhuiser, 76, passed into Eternal Life on Sunday, October 20, 2019, with his family by his side.

He was born in Racine on October 24, 1942, the son of the late Robert A. and Katherine (nee:Bohnsack) Larsen. After spending several years at Taylor Home Orphanage, he was adopted and raised by the late Harold and Marion (nee: Schenkenberg) Itzenhuiser. He graduated from St. Catherine's High School, Class of '59. On August 17, 1963, he married his one true love, Karen Ann Ricchio, at Holy Name Church.

Bob worked at J.I. Case Company in the skilled trades as a machine repairman for 30 plus years, retiring in 1999. He always lived life to the fullest. He was a member of many clubs and organizations, too numerous to mention, but one of his proudest accomplishments in those organizations was attaining his status as a 3 ^rd degree Mason. His interests and hobbies included horseback riding, skydiving, water skiing, boating, motorcycling, building/flying his gyrocopter, camping, mentoring youth, designing and building his family's homes, photography, collector cars, wintering in Puerto Vallarta, baking, reading, watching Nascar, and so much more. Above all, Bob cherished his family, and every moment spent with them.

In addition to his wife Karen of 56 years, Bob is survived by his children, Laurie (Gary) Kis of Racine, Jody (Stan) Kropidlowski of Green Bay, Michael Itzenhuiser and Jason Itzenhuiser, both of Racine; his grandchildren, Lindsey (John) Hoffmann, Amanda Kis (Marcus Porcaro), Collette (Brian) Peters, Kevin (Samantha) Kropidlowski, Zachary, Emily and Jesse Kropidlowski, Nicole (Justin) Dewitt, Jonathan Itzenhuiser, Natalie, Abigail and Adriane Itzenhuiser; 12 great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, John (Ida) Larsen of Boise, Idaho, Jim (Amy) Larsen of Janesville, Jean Fox of Janesville, Jeff (Stephanie) Larsen of Lighthouse Point, FL, Joe (Linda) Larsen of Americus, GA, Paul (Mert) Larsen of Bailey's Harbor, Robert (Anna) Larsen of Sturgeon Bay, Paul (Sue) Van Lanen of Sheboygan, Anne Tren (Tom) Duevel of Minneapolis, MN; Special in-laws, Dennis (Julie) Ricchio of Lauden, TN and Joanne (Terry) Kaprelian of Racine; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Besides his late parents, he was preceded in death by his loving in-laws, Arthur G. and Maxine E. Ricchio.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Monday, November 4 ^th for a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The celebration of his life and funeral Mass will take place at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (6400 Spring Street) on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 12:00 p.m., with a brief visitation at 11 a.m., before the start of the service. Memorials have been suggested to the American Lung Association and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
