
Racine-Robert John Muto, 58, passed away at WHF-All Saints on Tuesday, March 06, 2012. Bob was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 31, 1953, son of Joseph and Lisa (nee: Cheleli) Muto, but had been a Racine area resident since childhood. He was a graduate of Case High School. On June 8, 1998 he was united in marriage to Karen M. Goessl.
Bob was employed by Triple E until his retirement. Bob’s number one passion in life was his music. He was classically trained in the piano and also played the keyboard in many bands over the years, including The Rockits; Free Wheelin; and most recently All the King’s Men. Bob also loved flower gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Karen of Racine; his sons, Christopher Muto of Sturtevant, and Marcus (Samantha Harvey) Muto of Racine; his granddaughter, Cali Ann Muto of Racine; his mother Lisa Muto of Sturtevant; brother Frank (Kathy Lichtenwalner) Muto of Sturtevant; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Muto, Sr., and brother Joseph Muto, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to visit in the funeral home on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 5-7pm. Memorial services will follow at 7pm with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.
