RACINE – Bobbi Bergemann, 64, passed away unexpectedlyin her sleep at her home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.

She was born at the Great Lakes Naval Base in Lake County, IL on June 9, 1951, the daughter of Rodger and Ruby (nee: Crimm) Visek.  Bobbi graduated from JI Case High School and later received an associate degree in accounting from Gateway Technical College. She lived in Racine for most of her life and had worked at several companies including Heritage Bank, American Family Insurance and most recently Woodland/Alloy Castings Inc.

Bobbi, a 15+ year breast Cancer survivor, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, watching auto racing, and cheering for the Denver Broncos. She enjoyed being in the company of her family at birthday parties and holiday cookouts and always came with the deviled eggs. In 2006, she became a grandmother for the first time, a role which she truly loved. She was known by her grandchildren only as Granni and while she did not have much she was always willing to give for them.

She is survived by her sons, Eric (Carla) Bergemann of Racine, Todd Bergemann and Paul Bergemann of Denver; her grandchildren, Rylie, Maxwell and Jacqueline Bergemann; her father, Rodger (Doris) Visek of Monterey Park, CA; her brothersand sisters, Rodger Visek II, Kim (Mike) Ackley, Gayle (Ralland) Ludwigson all of Racine, Jonna (Charlie) Ackley of Montello, WI, Susan (Bradley) Melby of Kansasville, Charlene Hart, Randy Visek, Carol, Elaine and Burt; her former husband, Ted (Sandy) Bergemann of Lake Alfred, FL; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.   Bobbi was preceded in death by her son, Christian Sean Bergemann and her mother and step-father, Ruby (Jack) Reid.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, September 17, 2015 for a visitation from 4-6 p.m.  A service remembering and celebrating Bobbi's life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.
