Racine – Robertha Gordon, 70, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was born in New Orleans, Louisianna on March 10, 1945, the daughter of the late Esa Lee and Sophie (nee: Chaney) Gordon.

Berta was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and foster-mother. She was an avid sports fan; and one of the best cooks in the world. She will be remembered for being a great counselor to everyone who sat at her kitchen table. She also had a passion for gardening and sewing.

She is survived by her children: Fredericka (Maurice Hannibal) Gordon, Joseph (Amanda Galokowski) Gordon, Anthony (Marisela Rodriguez) Gordon, Thasie (Willie Bradley) Gordon, Kim (Angela Hand-Gordon) Gordon all of Racine; her favorite granddaughter, Lakisha (Donell Campbell) Gordon and grandson, DeAndre Charles; brothers and sister: Odell Jackson, Robert Chaney, and Bessie G. Williams all of New Orleans; as well as a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Gordon; grandson, Tremari Gordon; nephew, Jerod Chaney; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Fleming.

In keeping with her wishes, private services were held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
