Beach Park, IL-Roberto Gomez, age 60, passed away unexpectedly at Aurora – St. Luke's Medical Center, from unforeseen complications during back surgery, on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Roberto was born in Wild Rose, WI on August 27, 1961 to the late Ramiro and Martha (nee: Valdez) Gomez, Sr. A graduate of Washington Park High School, he went on to work for several companies including Ferrite International & Amazon. Among his interests, Roberto enjoyed cooking, gardening, baking, fishing, kayaking and spending every available moment with his beloved wife, Juana.

Surviving are his loving wife, Juana; brothers & sister, Ricardo (Lisa) Gomez, Rudolfo Gomez, Rolando (Norma) Gomez, Naomi Huerta and Sonny (Jennifer) Gomez; mother-in-law, Epifania Flores; Juana's brothers & sisters, Isaac, Angel, Daniel, Louis, Mercedes, Maribel, Socorro, Carlos, Salbia and Francisco; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, Roberto was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tommy Huerta.

Viewing will be in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday morning, November 14, 2021 from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.
