Racine- Robinnette "Robin" V. (nee: Kraemer) Christiansen, 70, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center on Thursday, May 15, 2008. A lifetime resident, Robin was born in Racine on October 16, 1937 to the late Anthony and June (nee: Hartig) Kraemer. She graduated from Washington Park High School in 1956. Prior to her retirement, Robin was employed as an assembler at Ametek. Robin was a member of Christ Church-United Methodist. She enjoyed reading, crafts, growing roses, and tending to her feline companion, Speckles. Above all, she loved being in the surroundings of her entire family. Surviving are her daughter, Christine L. Eyman of Racine; former husband, James L. Christiansen of Kenosha; grandchildren, Shawn S. (Justa) Heldt of Berlin, WI; Christopher E. Nelson, Jr. and Dakota D. Christiansen, both of Racine; great-grandson, Justin Heldt; special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli Christiansen; and sister, Lolly Joy Donaldson. In accordance with Robin's wishes, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service celebrating Robin's life will be held in the funeral home on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 6:00 pm with Rev. Awilda Nolla officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 5-6 pm.
