Memorial Suggestions

Memorials to Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Boulevard, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin 53158, would be appreciated by the family

Rojean (Keller) Baldock, 92, passed away on November 12, 2020, at St. Monica’s Assisted Living. She was born in Canton, Illinois, on May 14, 1928, to the late Ray Keller and Lenore Wilks. In 1947, she was united in marriage to Bill Baldock in Canton, Illinois. Later that year they moved to Racine to start their new life together. Rojean worked at Paulson’s Furniture Store in the Gift Shop.

She served her community as a Jaycette President, Girl Scout Leader, and St. Luke’s Auxiliary Pink Lady. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and Imperial Kitchen Band. Rojean played a role as one of the Andrew Sisters, as well as many parts with the Riviera Players in Scottsdale, Arizona. She volunteered at the Racine Lighthouse-Fog Horn House, Racine Theatre Guild, Phoenix Botanical Gardens, and Lutheran Gift Shop.

Rojean enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She really enjoyed traveling, spending many winters in Scottsdale, Arizona, frequently enjoying Brewers Spring Training games. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters: Karen Adams, of Georgetown, Texas, and Cindy (Kim) Kadlecik of Racine, Wisconsin; her grandchildren: Ryan (Christine) Adams of Austin, Texas, Kara (Adam) Norton of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Craig Kadlecik (Margarita Guzman) of Racine, Wisconsin; her great-grandchildren: Porter, Ava, Savannah, Sophia, Ava, Genevieve, and Emmeline. Rojean was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Baldock, her parents, and her son-in-law, James Adams.

At St. Monica’s, Rojean enjoyed Bingo, cards, Rummy Cube, outings, Senior Olympics, and gardening. She had a special coin purse to place her Bingo winnings; she was very proud of how full it was. She was one of the first to sign up for whatever the next outing would be. Rojean was referred to as GG; yes, she was a great-grandmother, but it is really because she was Goofy Grandma. She had a mischievous and love of life spirit. Earlier in her adventurous life, she rode her bicycle across Wisconsin. She was always ready for the next adventure or escapade.

A private interment with the family will be held at Graceland Cemetery with Chaplain Marge officiating. Memorials to Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Boulevard, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin 53158, would be appreciated by the family

The family would like to thank the staffs of St. Monica’s Assisted Living and Hospice Alliance who cared for Rojean.

    Karen and Cindy:

I am so sorry to see that your mom has passed away. I saw her a couple of times over at St. Monica’s when I was visiting my brother-in-law and uncle. I wasn’t sure if she remembered me or not. Your mom was a true gem, kind sweet and oh so gentle. May she rest in peace. I have such wonderful memories on the times on Deane Blvd. Sending a warm comforting hug to you both.
