Racine, WI – Rolonda Lavetta Booker, age 41, completed her earthly journey on Friday, July 12, 2019. She was born in Racine, WI on January 13, 1978, the daughter of Charles and Janet (nee: Booker) Cooper.

Rolonda received her formal education in Racine, WI.  After graduating she attended Gateway Technical College, where she obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant  degree.  Rolonda worked in Private Homecare for over twenty years, touching many lives along the way.  She enjoyed caring for others, but her true love was spending time with her family and friends. Her granddaughter Ava was the sparkle in her eyes.

Surviving Rolonda is her devoted son, Christopher Booker; her precious granddaughter, Ava Booker; sisters, LaQuonda and Sharonda Booker; aunts, Jeanette Johnson, Marilyn Booker, Christine Booker and Peggy Williams; her uncles, Antovia Booker and Jason Booker; cousins, Reggie Booker, Ken Booker, Lakeisha (nee: Booker), Tiffiany Booker, Tyretta Cole, LaShonda Booker, Nicky Booker, Sherika Cole, Shacora Paramole, as well as many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  Rolonda is also survived by her long-time friend, Sarah Scott and her partner of thirteen years, Nathaniel Brown.  She was preceded in death by mother, Janet Cooper; grandmother, Florida B. Booker; grandfather, Eddie Booker; aunt, Maxine Cole and her two uncles, Robert Williams and Prince Williams.

Rolonda was a very loving and supportive person and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, 11:00am at St. Paul MBC, 1123 Center St., Racine, WI.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00am until the time of service.  Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.
