Ronald Eisel

Apr 23, 1947 – Apr 23, 2025

Service Details

A memorial service to honor Ronald’s life and legacy will be private for his family and friends.

It is with heavy hearts yet a sense of celebration that we announce the passing of Ronald Eisel, who left us peacefully on his 78th birthday, April 23, 2025. Born in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1947, Ron led a life rich with passion and creativity, leaving a legacy that will resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.

Ron was not just an assembly line worker at Chrysler; he was a craftsman in his own right. After beginning his career at AMC, he faced the challenge of being laid off in 1990 but turned adversity into opportunity by running Video Hits until 1993. His return to Chrysler reflected his steadfast work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.

An avid fisherman, Ron found joy in the tranquil waters of Lake Michigan, where he cast his line for perch, and reveled in the thrill of catching striped bass at the Wilmot Dam each spring. His hands, skilled at creating his own jigs and soft plastic baits, not only brought him satisfaction but also fostered countless memories shared with loved ones in moments of tranquility.

In addition to his love for fishing, Ron nurtured his yard with the same devotion he brought to his work and family. He spent hours caring for his lawn, proudly cultivating a space of beauty. In his younger years, he reveled in working on cars, bringing his mechanical dreams to life. A passionate photographer, he captured life’s fleeting moments, preserving the beauty of the world through his lens. Ron was an unwavering Green Bay Packers fan, channeling his spirit into every game. His love for the team mirrored his enthusiasm for life-full of vigor and camaraderie.

Ron leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Ron Eisel, Ryan Eisel, Roxanne Listrom; grandchildren, Mackayla Eisel, Chloe Eggers, Alexander Eisel, Ezekiel Eisel; sister, Bonnie Eisel; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends too numerous to mention.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Hank and Hilda Eisel; wife, Carol Eisel; daughter, Rhonda Eisel; brothers, Robert (Grace) Eisel, William “Skip” (Maureen) Eisel, and Dennis Eisel.

A memorial service to honor Ronald’s life and legacy will be private for his family and friends.

In Ron’s memory, let us all take to the waters he treasured, the gardens he nurtured, and the games he cherished. May we carry forward his spirit of craftsmanship, love, and laughter as we continue our journeys, forever enriched by the time we shared with him.

Seems like only yesterday we all got together for family picnics. Now there are only a handful of us left. Cherish the memories, they are priceless.

    With sincere sympathy,

    Kathy Torkilsen
