STURTEVANT – Ronald A. Sadowski, 70, passed away at his residence, with his family by his side on June 2, 2016. Ron never gave up his valiant fight against lung cancer saying he loved his life and family too much to give up.

He was born in Kenosha on January 17, 1946, the son of the late Frank and Josephine (nee: Chianelli) Sadowski.   On September 16, 2006 he married Mary Thoennes at their home in Sturtevant.

He retired from JI Case (CNH Global) after thirty-two years of service.

Ron was a gentle, kind, giving person.  He loved animals; especially the many dogs and cats he had over the years.  He also enjoyed cheering for the Cowboys, cooking and taking care of his grandchildren, whom he adored.

In addition to his loving wife, Mary, he is survived by his children, Ronald (fiancée, Jen Connelly) Sadowski, Rita Sadowski, Toni (James Berrier) Sadowski all of Kenosha, Katrina (Christopher) Smith, Alyssa (Derek) Hubbard both of Racine; his dear friend and former son-in-law, David Homes of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Allen, Lori, Mandy, Samantha, Joe, Mary, Grace, Addison, Brendan; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Lukas and Norah; his beloved felines, Sarena and Skylar; as well as many dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Sadowski.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, June 11, 2016 for a visitation and time to meet with his family from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 pm.  An informal service will follow at 12:30 pm where people will be invited to share stories about Ron.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.

Ron's family extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at the Lombardi Cancer Center and Hospice Alliance for the professional and loving attention he received while under their care.
