Ronnie "Rollo" Swift, 63, passed away on May 12, 2018, with his family by his side.

Ronnie was born on June 4, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee to Frank and Mary Elizabeth Swift.  He was the first born twin of six children.  He was raised in Zion, Illinois.  When he became an adult, he relocated to Racine, Wisconsin.

Ronnie attended Zion Benton Township High School in Zion, Illinois.

Ronnie started working at an early age and had a great work ethic.  He worked at J.I. Case in Racine, Wisconsin for 10 years, then at American Motors Corporation (AMC) Chrysler Plant in Kenosha, Wisconsin for 15 years.

Ronnie enjoyed traveling to Tennessee to visit his family. He loved his children and grandchildren. He also loved singing and watching T.V.  His favorite T.V. shows were CSI, Criminal Minds and a variety of westerns.  He loved nice cars and was a very sharp dresser.  Ronnie's smile was infectious and he also had a great sense of humor.

As a child, he attended Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Zion, Illinois. Ronnie accepted Christ before he transitioned to be with the Lord. Ronald Swift, age 63, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Ascension-All Saints in Racine, WI.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his loving memory: his mother, Mary Elizabeth Swift, Nashville, Tennessee; two sons: Ronardo Windom, Nashville, Tennessee; Ronnie Griffin, Jr., Racine, Wisconsin; one daughter: Rhonda Griffin, Racine, Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers: his twin, Donnie (Donna) Swift, Racine, Wisconsin; Jasper Roy Swift, Racine, Wisconsin; three sisters: Glenda Joyce Swift-Duncan, Kenosha, Wisconsin; Porsha Ann Swift (David) Theus, LaVergne, Tennessee and Connie Swift (Michael) Turner, Nashville, Tennessee.  He also leaves to cherish his memories three aunts: Clarice (Albert) Whitmore, Mason, Tennessee; Ivy Nell (Arthur) Cunningham, Arlington, Tennessee and Silva Stine (Isadore) Haywood, Oak Park, Michigan; one uncle: Charles (Vernell) Wilkerson, Somerville, Tennessee, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Frank Roland Swift; Grandfather Roland Swift; Grandmother Laura Swift; Grandfather Willis Wilkerson and Grandmother, Lucy Mae Wilkerson.  Four deceased uncles: John Ed (Georgia Ruth) Swift; Paul Dean (Laura) Wilkerson; Willis (Lackey) Wilkerson, Jr. and Lloyd Wilkerson. One deceased aunt: Augusta (Curtis) McNeil; one deceased niece: September Swift.  Five deceased cousins: Robert (Hook) Jurnett-McNeil; Clinton Ray McNeil; Steven McNeil; Timothy Hiler-Swift and Porscha LaKeyle Thomas.

Ronnie "Rollo" Swift will truly be missed by his family and friends.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 11:00am in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be in the chapel from 10:00 until the time of service.
