Mr. Roscoe Lee Patterson, Sr., 55, died unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, August 12, 2010.

He was born in Memphis, TN on November 27, 1954, the son of the late Emmett and DaMarthanetz (nee: Richardson) Patterson, Sr. He graduated from Racine Lutheran High School. On August 16, 2000, he married the former Lisa Evans.

Mr. Patterson served his country with the U.S. Army. He was employed by Relief Enterprise at the Great Lakes Naval Base.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, model cars, cooking and shopping.

His survivors include his loving wife, Lisa Patterson of Somers; his children, Thea Patterson of Milwaukee, Roscoe "Corey" Patterson, Jr. of Racine; grandchildren, Thomasha, Coretrelle and Damarion Patterson; brothers and sisters, Emmette (Wanda) Patterson, Jr. of Racine, Anthony (Renee) Patterson of Seattle, WA, Rebecca (Willie) Cain of Atlanta, GA, Ender Patterson, Denise Lampkin and Keith Fair all of Racine; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Patterson.

Per Roscoe's wishes, a cremation has taken place and a service will not take place.
