A Time to Be Born

Rosie Lee Epps-Moore, affectionately known as "Lil Sista," age 89, peacefully gained her wings at home on Monday, July 13, 2026, after a short battle with colon cancer. Sadly, her health began to fail after the death of her beautiful daughter, Trennie Yvette Epps. Rosie was born to the late Jonas Levi Jr. and Mae Willie (nee: Booker) Epps. She relocated to Racine, WI at an early age and later married AW Moore.

A Time to be Trained

With a profound work ethic, Rosie Lee served her community as a CNA for Racine County/High Ridge Nursing Home for over 27 years. In addition, she worked for a local dry cleaner.

A Time to Serve

Rosie Lee accepted Christ at an early age at Bethany M.B. Church in Keirn, MS. She was always a faithful and dedicated member of New Omega Missionary Baptist Church for 42 years until her health started to fail. She was a firm believer in the scripture" God loves a cheerful giver" 2 Corinthians 9:7. She truly lived her religion by caring for others and sharing her God given talents. Cooking was one of her many talents. She loved hosting holiday gatherings, Sunday dinners, and birthday celebrations. She will be memorized in the hearts of all for always sending birthday cards with a small love token, just to say I love you. Rosie enjoyed spending time with her family, watching western movies and supporting her Green Bay Packer and Chicago Cubs. She looked forward to playing "Spades" with friends but most of all playing B-I-N-G-O as much as possible.

A Time to Love

Rosie Lee leaves to cherish her memories: Daughter, Virgie Epps, Grandchildren, Tashanti (Adrian Myhre) Young, Karena (Kevon) Allen-McArthur, DeLane Martin, Darius Martin and Torre Rogers; Great-grandchildren, Aiden Myhre, Aaliyah Martin, Alex Myhre, Aaron Myhre, Zaydis Martin & Zarom Martin; Brothers, Sammie (Kathy) Epps and Robert Epps; Sisters, Annie Mae (LC) Granderson, Mamie (Bob) Holden, Lillian "Lil Girl" Epps and Eddie Mae Epps-Fondren; Sister-In-Law, Bobbie Jean Epps, Marilyn Epps and Annie McGraw Epps; Brother-In-Law Willie Howard Jordan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Time to Reconnect

Rosie Lee was preceded in death by her Parents Jonas Levi & Mae Willie Epps Jr.; Daughter, Trennie Yvette Epps; Brothers, Jimmie Lee Epps, JD Epps, Frank (Thelma) Epps, William "Sonny" Epps and James Epps; Sisters, Lucressia Jordan Epps, Willie Mae "Sally" (Charles) Epps-Claybrook; Brother-In-Law, Larry Fondren; and Sister-In-Law, Zora Epps.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

We will miss her dearly.

Once, Twice, Three times a Lady……
