Rosita Schroeder

Nov 29, 1934 – May 7, 2006

Mrs. Rosita Schroeder, 71, died unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, May 7, 2006. She was born in Bogota, Columbia on November 29, 1934, the daughter of the late Gabriel and Esther Maria (nee: Franco) Pinzon. On August 20, 1960, in St. Edward Catholic  Church, Milwaukee, she was united in marriage to Ronald E. Schroeder, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2005. Mrs. Schroeder was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, shopping, and decorating. Her greatest love was for the time she spent with her grandchildren, especially Cody, whom she cherished and raised.

Surviving are her children, Christina (Mike) Tresch, Scott (Dawn Montemurro) Schroeder, Tammy (Tony) Garza, and Samantha (Mark) Shultis; 11 grandchildren, Valerie, Cody, Kali, Zachary, Rianna, Vincent, Madison, T.J., Brandon, Steven, and Sydnie; great-grandson, Ethan; two sisters, Lila Des Marais and Lenore De Rosas; and her brother, Hernando Pinzon. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive her.

Her memorial prayer service will be held in St. Anne Catholic Church, 9091 Pleasant Ridge Boulevard, Pleasant Prairie, on Saturday, May 13, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Donald Thimm officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.
