Racine- Rudy C. Malke, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2008 as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident that occurred in Somers. Rudy was born in Racine on December 4, 1970. He lived in the Racine and Kenosha area all of his life. A master craftsman, Rudy was employed for many years as an expeditor for Newport Builders. Recently, he founded his own company, Area Remodels. Rudy had a tremendous zest for life. He enjoyed building, carpentry, listening to music, cooking and grilling out. Rudy loved being outdoors and had a profound appreciation of God's Country. He cherished being on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and will be remembered for his love of having a good time with his family and friends. Rudy, you will never be forgotten! Surviving to mourn his passing are his daughter, Jessica Coleman, age 16, of Germantown; son, Christopher Malke, age 12, of Racine; mother, Karen Malke of Sturtevant; grandmother, Elsie Peterson of Peshtigo; aunts, Jean (Jerry) Bose of Kenosha and Jane Brule of Racine; and uncle, Dale Malke of Peshtigo. Further surviving are special cousins, relatives and many, many friends too numerous to mention by name. Rudy was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rudolph Malke in 1956 and Alfred Peterson in 1987. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10:00 am in Faith Lutheran Church, 8500 Durand Ave. in Sturtevant, with Rev. Jeffrey Mortenson officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home, 4600 County Line Rd., on Thursday from 5-8 pm and in the church on Friday from 9-10 am.
