Mount Pleasant – Ruth H. Garski; age 89; passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday morning, April 26, 2015. Ruth was born in Racine on January 11, 1926 to the late Carl and Agnes (nee: Wasquite) Nelson. During her working career, she was employed by Hamilton Beach and Janes School. She was a member of Unity Church – Kenosha.

Surviving are her sons, Gary (Kimberly) Nelson and Jerry Garski; grandson, Garrett Nelson; sister, Marge Jurik; sister-in-law, Lois Nelson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Garski; brothers, James Arlington, Joe Nelson, Carl (Hildegaard) Nelson, Ray Nelson, Mike Nelson and Ken Nelson; and brother-in-law, Joe Jurik.

In accordance with Ruth's wishes, cremation will take place. In memory of Ruth, memorials to White Paws German Shepherd Rescue (1831 Bellevue #299  Green Bay, WI  54302) has been suggested.
