Obituary

~~A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, 11:00am, at New Omega Baptist Church, 5731 Northwestern St.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.~~Racine~~Samuel Lee Walker or "Lil Sam" as he was affectionately called, was born on October 18, 1963 in Milwaukee, WI to Samuel L. Caldwell and Dorothy (nee: Walker) Bizzle. Samuel received his formal education in the Racine Unified School System, he also attended school in St. Louis, MO.  He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. Samuel was employed by several restaurants and factories until his health no longer allowed. He always enjoyed sports growing up. While attending Gilmore, at the age of 12, he won a scholarship to St. Catherine's High School for wrestling under the leadership of Mr. James Abbott. He traveled to Japan and Hawaii for the 1978-79 Junior Olympics, he won all sport wrestling.  He won the All Sport Lil' Sam also excelled in boxing with Jim Cechinni from Kenosha, WI, Ralph Nudi Boxing Club.  In his later years his favorite form of exercising, it didn't matter how far his destination was he didn't mind the journey.  Sam enjoyed many things in life and he took nothing for granted but the time he spent with his family was what he cherished the most. Lil' Sam was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Lucille Moore; nephews, Michael J. Bizzle and Darius J. Harlan; nieces, Nicole Bizzle and Janiqua Patterson; Uncles, Cleveland and Willie Caldwell and sister in law, Catrise L. Hill-Bizzle. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories are his Mother, Dorothy Bizzle of Racine; father, Samuel Caldwell of St. Louis, MO; grandparents, Ernest and Viola Stewart; siblings, Richard, Crystal and Corey Bizzle, LaKeesha and Marquian Shannon and Ricardo Jenkins, Angela, Matthew, Tony, Demetrius LeAndre Caldwell, Roxanne Wright and Aiden Basett; close nieces, JaQuasea, JaQuaria and Jaderria; close nephews, Maurice, Adrian, JaDarius, Richard Jr and Coryontae; 13 nephews, 10 nieces, 6 great nephews and 6 great niece; uncles, Ernest Stewart Jr.; aunts, Ola (Charles) Brown, Callie (Harry) Davis and Vanessa Stewart Samuel will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, 11:00am at New Omega Missionary Baptist Church, 5731 Northwestern Ave.  Visitation will be in the church from 10am until the time of service.  Interment will take place at Gracelan Cemetery.
