Obituary

Racine – Sandra Irene (nee: Born) Bisotti, age 54, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Friday, May 26, 2017 following a courageous 15-month battle with cancer.

Sandy was born in Racine on September 12, 1962 to Earl and Judith (nee: Luxem) Born. She graduated from Washington Park High School "Class of 1980". On April 22, 1989 in St. Lucy Catholic Church with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating, she was united in marriage with Frank Louis Bisotti. They proudly & faithfully just renewed their wedding vows at St. Lucy on April 22, 2017.

Sandy was employed as an executive assistant at SC Johnson. She was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. Among her interests, she was a professional shopper; loved singing with her beautiful voice; and enjoyed organizing, hosting and entertaining family and friends – always with a signature smile on her face and infectious laughter.

Surviving are her loving husband of 28 years, Frank; parents, Earl and Judy Born; brother, David Born; sisters, Susan (Edward) McCrickard and Sally McReynolds; mother-in-law, Palma "Pam" Bisotti; sisters-in-law, Dina Bisotti, Debbie Burdick and Diane (Mike) Rauch; nieces and nephews, Jacob & Jenna McReynolds; Ashley & Andy Burdick; loving canine companion, Sophie; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends – too numerous to mention all by name. Sandy was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Frank Bisotti, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 am at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue in Racine, with Rev. Javier Guativa officiating. A luncheon will follow. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm (reception to follow) and in the church on Friday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Private entombment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin or to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) have been suggested.

A special note of thanks to Heartland Hospice & to all of our devoted family members and friends for the compassionate care and support given during Sandy's journey with her fight against cancer. May God bless all of you!
