Mt. Pleasant – Sandra A. Treffert, 53, passed away at WFHC All Saints Hospital on Friday, June 12, 2015. She was born in Racine on December 18, 1961, daughter of the late Kenneth and L. Joan (nee: Duda) Baldwin. Sandy was a 1979 graduate of Horlick High School. On May 15, 1982 she was married to David B. Treffert in St. Rose Church.

Sandy had been employed for many years at SC Johnson Wax in the production department at Waxdale, but she devoted her life to family. She was the most loving wife and mother, and was extremely proud of her sons. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family, especially when they could gather together at Lily Lake. She also had a fondness for socializing, animals, shopping, and giving.

Sandy is survived by her husband, David Treffert, of Mt. Pleasant; their sons, Michael Treffert of Madison, and Ben (Courtney) Treffert of Racine. She is also survived by her sister, Sue (Paul Lyons) Baldwin of Burlington; brother, Ken (Marsha) Baldwin of Mt. Pleasant; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service for Sandy will be held in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 with Rev. Lawrence Williams officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park.
