Scott Edward Meyers, 59, passed away at Ascension – All Saints on January 26, 2023.  He was born in Middlesex, New Jersey on August 13, 1963, son of the late Joseph and Larryene (nee: Kenzel) Meyers.

Scott graduated from Middlesex High School in 1981 and enlisted in the Navy the following year in 1982. He proudly served his country on the USS Goldsborough DDG 20 where he was an 18-year-old kid in charge of the engine room on the ship that was stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. After his time in the military, Scott relocated to Racine WI.

In 1986 Scott began his electrical sales career with Nelson Electric / Revere Electric.  He started as a driver and worked his way up over the years to Inside Sales Manager.  In his 37 year career Scott gained a vast amount of knowledge in his field, he had the friendship and respect of his coworkers as well as his customers (some of which he has worked with for over 30 years) and will be deeply missed by all.

Scott met his wife Jenny at Nelson Electric, they were united in marriage during a small ceremony on June 5, 1998, at the Wind Point Lighthouse in Racine, WI.

Being from Jersey Scott rooted for the New York Mets & Jets but also finding a spot for the Packers as well often going to Packer games with a Packers shirt and a Jets hat when they played each other which always started up great conversations with other fans.

Scott liked to spend his time playing his music in the garage, making sure his grass was cut and "weed free", washing his car and in general putzing around. If you drove by the house and the garage was open, you knew you could stop in for a visit & a beer. He threw numerous garage parties and loved to spend time with family and friends.

His true passion was anything to do with going to Florida, spending time on the beach with his family and deep-sea fishing were his favorite. This is where the true "Happy Scott" was witnessed by his wife, kids, son in law and grandkids in his natural habitat.  Madeira Beach was always his home away from home just vegging out on the beach and making no formal vacation plans other than just relaxing.

Above all, Scott was a family man and enjoyed spending time with Jenny, and his kids Nicole and Jake. Scott was an amazing dad, and he was always there for them whenever they needed him (and even when they didn't, but he thought they might, he was waiting in the wings). He was so very proud of both of them and the adults they became. He would brag about them to anyone who would listen.

Soon after Scott became a grandpa and the game changed.  He was officially Papa now a whole new job to take on and he was so ready for it. Avery & Jameson adored their Papa and loved to yell to him in their best Jersey accent "Yo-Papa". Those two had this rough exterior kind of guy wrapped around their little fingers, he didn't stand a chance.

Scott leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Jenny Meyers; daughter, Nicole (Jason) Tallinger; son, Jake Meyers; grandchildren, Avery Tallinger, Jameson Tallinger; brother, Randy Meyers; nephews, Sam Meyers, Joe Meyers; his is two adopted sons, Joe Espinoza & Sam Weiss (who he affectionately referred to as the dumb asses); in -laws, Jim and Pat Becker who were like 2 ^nd parents to him that he loved dearly; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law who he became very close with over the years, Carl (SanDee) Becker, Jo Ellen (Bruce) Gonzo, Cathy (Jim "C") Straka, Tom (Tiger) Becker, Rob (Mary) Becker, Paul (Cindy Lou) Becker, Terry (Cahnrad) Cagle, Ann (Dan) Winter, Shelly (Jeff) Tyree, Mike (Krissy) Becker as well as many, many nieces & nephews on Jenny's side that are too numerous to mention.

In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Meyers; uncle, Eddie Meyer; sister-in-law, SanDee Becker; brothers-in-law, Tom Becker, Lemonte Rommel, Bruce Gonzo; and his best friend and partner in crime, David Lee.

A memorial celebration of Scott's life will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, 6:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road.  Visitation will be from 3:00pm until the time of the memorial service. After the service the family would like to invite you all for a gathering at Hickory Hall, 5844 Douglas Avenue Racine for food, drinks & memories of our Scottie.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to the staff at Ascension – All Saints for the love and care given to Scott and his family during this difficult time.
