MOUNT PLEASANT – Scott T. Urick, 55, passed away peacefully at Ascension All Saints on Thursday, October 24, 2019.

Scotty was born in Racine on December 13, 1963, the son of Thomas and Blanche (nee: Critzman) Urick.  He attended Walden High School.  He married the love of his life, Paula "Kelly" Walker on June 6, 2000.

Scotty worked as a tunnel boring machine operator for Jaydee Contractors.  With the exception of his family, his world centered around music.  He was an accomplished bassist and played with many people and bands over the years.  He was also a Harley enthusiast.  He will be dearly missed by the many that knew and loved him.

In addition to his loving wife, Kelly, he is survived by his daughter, Kristi Richter of Mishawka, IN; his grandchildren, Austin, Delaney and Jake; his great granddaughter, Rilynn; his father, Thomas Urick of Racine; his brother, Nick (Johanna) Urick of California; his mother-in-law, Angie Walker of Lake Charles, LA; his brother-in-law, Mark (Michelle) Walker of Downigton, PA; his nephew and nieces, Nolan, Nicole and Ashley; as well as many cousins and dear friends,  including those in the music world.

Scotty was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Urick and his grandmother, Hazel Critzman.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, November 1, 2019 for a visitation and time to greet his family from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
