Scott P. Ursu, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 25, 2010. He was born in Kenosha on November 29, 1960 the son of Robert E. and Mary J. (nee: Knapp) Ursu.

Scott served his country with the U.S. Army. On October 4, 1991, here in Racine, he was united in marriage to the former Dawn Marie Kaufamn. Scott had been employed by Waste Management for over 8 years. Scott enjoyed classic car shows and trips to Wisconsin Dells with his family.

Scott is survived by his wife Dawn; daughter, Annie (Jon Sifuentes) Ursu; parents, Robert and Mary Ursu; brothers, Michael Ursu, and Jeffrey (Daphne) Ursu; sister-in-law, Cherie (Charles) Callies; brother-in-law, Victor Kaufman; nieces, Carrie, Caitlin, and Marisa, He is further survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives and many friends.

His memorial service will be held in the chapel of Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, September 30 ^th at 1:00 p.m. with full military honors to follow.
