Obituary

Sharon C. Iggulden, 42, passed away unexpectedly, as a result of an inoperable aneurysm, on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Sharon was born in Racine on January 18, 1968 the daughter of Charles and Janet (nee: Valukas) Iggulden. Sharon graduated from Washington Park High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She currently worked at Miller Brewing Company where she also received a Sensory Specialist Associate degree. Sharon also taught aerobics at the Y.M.C.A. – Downtown Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She was an avid runner; and loved competing in triathlons and marathons. She will be greatly missed by her parents, Chuck and Janet Iggulden; sister, Jennie (Burts) Compton, of Kingsport, TN; brother, Roy (Emily Durbin) Iggulden, of Stoughton, MA; niece and nephews, Beth, Charlie, and Sam Compton; godparents, Rosemary Iggulden and Wayne Valukas. Sharon is further survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and a host of loving and good friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tony and Lucille Valukas, Al and Gertrude Iggulden; and by her aunts Sister Pat Iggulden, Shirley Jeffrey, and Barbara Valukas. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19th, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and in the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Donations should be directed to the family to establish a memorial for Sharon at a later date.
