Obituary

Racine, WI. – Sharonda Parker was born May 5, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Harmon and Linda Parker. She lived there until her family moved to Racine, Wisconsin in 1986. Sharonda attended Park Highschool and worked for Society Assets where she devotedly provided compassionate care for others, including her son, for over 20 years.

A truly loving soul, Sharonda had a big heart. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren who meant the world to her. Sharonda had a giving spirit, and her doors were opened to many. As an adult, the kid in her still loved to color in coloring books. She loved to travel and talk on the phone. Sharonda was a fashionista as she truly loved to shop! So much so that staff at her local Burlington and TJ Maxx knew her by name. From decorating the house, to dancing and becoming your hype-man on the dance floor, to taking selfies, her beautiful smile and roaring laughter lit up a room and will be lovingly remembered, and truly missed.

Sharonda was unexpectedly called to rest on December 12, 2021. She'll be remembered for her strength, style, generosity, and nurturing spirit.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Harmon and grandmothers, Bessie Lee Parker, and Vera Harmon. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Linda Parker; children, Lavell Hardy "KK", Reginald McClain Jr. "Lil Monie", and Cierra Wright "Nana"; Grandchildren, Somontae "Pooh-Pooh", Asiah "Bunny/Yaya" and Ari Reign.
