Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, May 13, 2022, for a visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 pm.
A short service to share memories of Sherman will follow at 3:00 pm.

STURTEVANT – Mr. Sherman Clerk, 64, passed away at his residence on April 29, 2022.
He was born in Joliet, IL on March 27, 1958, the son of Homer and Emma (nee Lawson) Clerk.
Sherman worked at various restaurants as a cook. He loved listening to music, riding his bicycle and spending time by the lake.
He is survived by his daughter, Iesha Clerk; his son, Sherman (Jackie) Clerk both of Racine; his grandchildren, Toni Woods, Ryan Woods, Jordyn Brown, Jasminna Sanchez, Nikola Simic; his mother, Emma Clerk; his sisters and brothers, Katherine (Johnny) Bond, Norveea, Lewis, Roseville V., Demetrius D., Helen R., Troy, Nathan (Rebekah) Clerk; as well as many nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Clerk and his close friend and mother of his children, Tina Morgan.

I was caught by surprise when I so this, I was one of his caregivers at open arms and he was such a joy to be around. he was very sweet to me as long as i made sure he had a HONEY BUN. YOU WILL BE MISSED
