Shirley M. Burgan, 95, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wisconsin on Thursday, April 18, 2024. She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on March 3, 1929, but was a Racine area resident for most of her life. On April 10, 1948 she was married in St. Edwards Catholic Church to Earl C. Burgan.

Shirley spent much of her life lovingly raising her four children, Annette (Robert) Vobora of Decorah, Iowa, Ray (Ellen) Burgan of Rhinelander, John (Linda) Burgan of Grafton, and Paul (Donna) Burgan of Columbus, Ohio. Shirley loved spending time with her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Service Details

The Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley will be held in St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Avenue, Racine on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be in church from 10:00AM until the time of Mass. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
