Shirley Marie Woods, 56, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Monday, September 29, 2008. She was born in Racine on August 1, 1952 to the late Albert and Willie Lee (nee: Robinson) Woods, Sr. Shirley is survived by her sons, Terrence (Beckie) Woods, Charles William Barkley, Jr. both of Racine; 3 grandchildren, Charles William Barkley, III, Ombriana Barkley and Samantha Marie Woods; brothers and sisters, Albert Woods, Jr., Faye Linda (William) Thurman both of Racine, Larry Earl Woods of Appleton, Annette Woods of Atlanta, GA; special aunt, Sarah Robinson of Racine and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to meet at Searching Together Missionary Baptist Church (825 21st St) on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of her Homegoing service. There will be a visitation at the church on Monday from 10-11 a.m. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
