Mt. Pleasant – Stanley Jay Kozlik, 60, passed away at All Saints Hospital on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was born in Racine on March 9, 1956, son of the late Paul and Gladys (nee: Despins) Kozlik. Stanley graduated from JI Case High School in 1974; and then spent the next 37 years working at JI Case, retiring in 2011.
Stanley enjoyed putting in a good day’s work and relaxing with family and friends afterwards. Golf and bowling were two of his passions, and he enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Packers, and the PGA tour.
He is survived by his children: Melissa Baraboo, Adam Kozlik, Jeffrey (Kristi) Kozlik, and Stephanie Kozlik; grandchildren: Julie, Jonah, Athena, Hunter, Colin, Ida, Livia, Jasper, and Jeffrey Jr. He is further survived by his loving girlfriend of 14 years, Lori Liesner; brothers: Paul Kozlik, Daniel (Nancy) Kozlik, and Gerald (Louanne) Kozlik; sister-in-law: Vivian Kozlik; and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother James Kozlik; and nephew Marshal Kozlik.
Memorial services will be held in the funeral home at 6pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 with Rev. David Gehne officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm – 6pm. Memorials to the family, or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital have been suggested.
