RACINE – Steven A. (Tequila) Rovinski, 61, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. He was born in Racine on April 21, 1954, son of Rudy and Phyllis (nee: Moody) Rovinski.
Steve loved fishing with his boys, trap shooting at Wisconsin Sportsman, buying and selling cars, talking on his ham radios, Saturday poker games, hanging out with his friends at the dog park, and living a trucker lifestyle. Steve was a hard worker and held jobs at Walker Forge, Firefighter / EMT for Caledonia Station 2, Steve & Sons Trucking, TNT Trucking, and most recently Jung Trucking.
Steve is survived by the two most important people in his life, his sons, Brian (Jennifer) Rovinski and Todd (Carrie) Rovinski, grandchildren, Giani Engstrom and Breanna Gimino, Cousins Tim (Rose) Halter, Tom (Gina) Halter, and Joanie Halter, the mother of his boys and lifelong friend Maureen DeBlaey, his Petrifying Springs dog park friends, ham radio friends, his Jung family, and construction crews all over Racine. Steve is further survived by other dear friends too numerous to mention.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Phyllis, his Uncle Hank Halter, and his Aunt Rosemary Halter.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 22nd starting at 3pm at Wisconsin Sportsman 16010 Durand Ave, Union Grove, WI 53182. Food will be provided. Please bring your drink of choice. Come as you are, no need to dress up.

I knew & worked with Steve on Caledonia Fire Dept. he was a good guy someone you could depend on. He was there to help people, he wasn’t in it for the glory.
