Steven Briwick

vet
Aug 14, 1957 – Aug 1, 2014

Racine – Steven Paul Briwick, 56, passed away at All Saints Hospital on Friday, August 1, 2014. He was born in Kenosha on August 14, 1957, son of the late Gordon and Alice (nee: Youngblood) Briwick.
After graduating from Wm. Horlick High School in 1975, Steven enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served on active duty for 3 years. He later joined the US Army, also serving for 3 years. He was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for 17 years, and returned to Racine in 2007. Steven was a dedicated employee at Lieungh’s on Lathrop, and also worked as a groundskeeper at Ives Grove Golf Course.
Steve enjoyed learning the game of golf and played whenever he could. He also liked being with his “best friend”, his dog, Jake. Steve was a quiet, yet dependable friend that was always willing to help others. He enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews, and was “Uncle Steve” to many other children. He will be dearly missed.
Steve is survived by his sister and brothers, Deborah (Ronald) Hart, David Briwick, William (Karen) Briwick all of Racine, and Jeffrey (Angela) Briwick of Orange County, California; nieces, Julie Becker, Tina Briwick, and Jessica Briwick; nephews, Gordon Briwick and Jack Briwick; other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Steven’s wishes, his family has planned private services to be held.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

Many thanks to Bob and the staff of Draeger-Langendorf. This has been the hardest of times in my families lives and you were very attentive and helpful with all that needed to be done. The tribute that you created for my mother was beautiful and I shall not forget it. God bless all of you.
