MOUNT PLEASANT – Steven A. Winn, 60, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

He was born in Milwaukee on August 7, 1965, the son of the late Michael O. and Carlien H. (nee: Jozwiak) Winn.  Steve graduated from Washington Park High School in 1983 and earned his associates degree from Gateway Technical College.

Steve worked as a cartographer for Seeger Map Company for almost 40 years, as well as with the Kwik Trip corporation for over 30 years.

He was a food enthusiast and enjoyed traveling, attending Badger football games with his uncle, and listening to his favorite 80's music.

Steve is survived by his sister, Michelle (Steve) McDowell; his nephew, Madison (Ariel Behling) McDowell; his uncles and aunts, Mike Jozwiak, Pat (Judy) Jozwiak, Bob Jozwiak, Chuck Urbaniak, Edie Balistreri, Willy Obert, Lorraine "Skip" (Kenneth) Borca, Bert "Butch" (Loretta) Winn, Colin Winn; as well as many cousins and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.

Steve's family is planning a celebration of his life on August 22nd at 1:00 pm at 2955 Northbridge Dr, Caledonia, WI 53404.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Heartland Hospice, especially Kyla and Angela, as well as Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for the excellent care Steve received. An extra special thanks to Jeff, Cecil, Vicki, Uncle Mike, and Judy/Steve for all their help throughout these last 6 months.
