Susan "Sue" Marie Weaver, affectionately known as "Nani," passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Hospice Alliance-Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. She was 72 years old. Born on January 30, 1952, in Wildrose, Wisconsin, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Alvin and Henrietta (née Drier) Eserhut. The family moved to Racine, Wisconsin in 1961. A graduate of Washington Park High School in 1970, Susan embarked on a successful career in finance at Case/CNH. She retired in 2016 after 45 years of service. Her dedication and work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike. She was an avid reader and loved anything Stephen King. She also enjoyed gardening, going to the gym, going for many walks, and most of all being "NANI" to her grandchildren. Susan's life was centered around her family, where she found immense joy and fulfillment. As the devoted mother of Kimberly Schonert and Kristen Weaver, she created a home filled with love and care that became a source of strength for her family. Her gentle spirit and selfless nature left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives through quiet acts of love and compassion. Whether sharing treasured moments with loved ones or offering support to those in need, Susan exemplified grace and generosity in all she did. She will be dearly missed by her two girls, Kimberly Schonert and Kristen Weaver (Jordan Westrich). She is further survived by her grandchildren Damien Lacanne, Sofie Schonert, Christian, and Brycen Westrich; sisters Norrine (Kenneth) Block, Marilyn Wieland (Joe Tessman), Martha (Jerry) Doss all from Racine; brother Albert (Peggy) Eserhut from South Carolina; nieces Sarah (Mario) Bilotti of Kenosha, and Regina Leal of Texas; nephews Chris Leal, Nick Wieland (Niquole Pirk), Zach Tessman, and many great nieces and nephews; lifelong family/friends Andrew Schonert, Jane McPhee, Mary Nelson-Mole, Gina (Kaisler) Ladwig, and Liberty Belles Colorguard.

In addition to her parents Alvin and Henrietta Eserhut, Sue was preceded in death by her nephew/God-Son Douglas Kaisler, brother-in-law Jerry Kaisler, and many aunts and uncles. Though she is no longer with us, Susan's memory will remain a beacon of comfort and inspiration to those who loved her. May her legacy of love continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all whose lives she touched.
