Susan A. Runge, 80, passed peacefully after the short onset of a medical issue on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. She was born in Buffalo, New York on March 22, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Thomas and Alma (nee: Franke) Withey.

Susan was a graduate of Kemper Hall. On October 9, 1958 she was united in marriage to Charles Runge who preceded her in death on May 4, 2011. She was a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Kenosha and St. Peter Episcopal Church in Avondale, AZ. Susan had been employed by Kemper Hall, Kappus Bread, and Carthage College until her retirement.

Surviving are her children, Dawn (Mark) Pietkiewicz, of Kenosha, Charles (Marilee) Runge Jr., of Mukwonago, Christopher (Vanessa) Runge Sr., of Avondale, AZ, Carol Aulwes, of Racine, and Betsie (Michael) Jacobs, of Somers; Jonathan (Racheal) Pietkiewicz, Nicholas (Patty) Pietkiewicz, Charles Runge III, Benjamin Runge, Joshua Runge, Laura (Ernie) Petrowsky, Kaeli (Angel) Acosta, Alexander Fox Aulwes, Cassandra Grace, Andrew Grace, Stephanie (Juan) Salazar, Christopher Runge Jr., and Marisa (Christian) Solais; great grandchildren, Charles Runge  IV, Karyn Runge, Ladayia Runge, Ryann Olivia and Charlie Pietkiewicz, Daisy and Devlin Petrowsky, Brooke Beecher, Bailey and Bonnie Salazar, Cloey and Anastasia Gibson, Trinity Cochran, Mally, Launi, and Deegan Grace, and Christian Solais, Jr.   In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Withey.
