Suzanne "Sue" (nee: Konicek) Brown, age 81, passed away peacefully at Ascension Franklin Hospital on January 13, 2024 with family by her side.

Sue was born in Racine to Joseph and Linda (nee: Gildemeister) Konicek, Jr. She attended St. Johns Lutheran School and was a 1960 graduate of William Horlick High School. She lived in Florida from 1960 until moving back to Wisconsin in 2017. She was married to Joseph P. Brown until his passing on April 13, 2017.

Sue was employed as a central reservation specialist for Delta Airlines for over 35 years. She enjoyed sharing her gifted voice with singing in the Sweet Adelines. Among her other interests, Sue and her husband enjoyed traveling around the world together. Sue loved spending time with her family especially her great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed visiting with her friends from her school years and her close friends still living in Florida.

Surviving are her brother, Joel (Judi) Konicek; nieces and nephews, Beth (Dan) Griffin, M.D.; Chris (Lauren) Konicek, Dan (Kristin) Konicek, Dave (Jess) Konicek, Ryan (Liz) Konicek, Cheryl (Ric) Stenzel, Bonny Hougard, Deb (Rob) Cooper; Tim (Annette) Konicek, Craig (Jaclyn) Konicek,Rob (Barb) Konicek, many great-nieces & nephews, special cousins (Bonnie Perkins) and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sue was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy (Jerry) Hougard; brother and sister-in-law, Ron (Honey) Konicek; and nephew, Roger Hougard.

Services will be held in Spring 2024.
