Suzanne (Sue)
Carole Waddell
May 20, 1941 — Nov 12, 2010
Suzanne C. Waddell, 69, passed away peacefully at WFH – All Saints on Friday, November 12, 2010 after a courageous battle with thyroid cancer.
She was born in Milwaukee on May 20, 1941, the daughter of the late Edward and Albena (nee: Zaletal) Kozick.
A retired computer analyst from Carthage College, Sue lived her life being a selfless and devoted mother and grandmother. With having nine grandchildren she juggled her schedule by attending most of her grandchildren's events. Everyday Sue spent time with her children or grandchildren. While being so involved with her family's events she still managed to be an active member and Queen of Vice of the Victorians of Racine, a Red Hat Society. Sue enjoyed many hobbies such as square dancing, stamping, traveling, sewing, and reading.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Jerry (Jill) Waddell, Jr. of Raymond, Kim (David Brinkmann) Otto, Kelly Thielen and Kristi (Kevin) Moe all of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Baylee and Conner Waddell, Zachary and Aaron Otto, Christopher, Nicholas and Joshua Thielen, Tyler and Kylee Moe; her companion, Delbert Holtz of Muskego; sister, Barbara Miller of Oshkosh; niece Colleen Lloyd and nephew Glenn Miller; dear friends Valerie Pavlik and Shirley Ricchio of Racine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Jerry Waddell, Sr. and her brother-in-law, Delbert Miller.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Her burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday in West Lawn Memorial Park. Please meet at the entrance at 11:15 a.m.
A very special thank you to Doctors Michael Mullane, Kaye Eileen Willard and Linda Hansen for the professional yet loving care that was extended to Suzanne and her family during her battle with cancer.
