Obituary

Tammy Lee Cochran, 46, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2026, in Edgewood, Florida. She was born on September 19, 1979, in Racine, Wisconsin.

Tammy was a woman of vibrant spirit and unwavering authenticity. She was unapologetically herself—funny, radiant, and full of joy. Her positivity was infectious, and those who met her were often struck by her warmth and the happiness she carried wherever she went.

Professionally, Tammy dedicated much of her life to helping others. She worked with special needs children through various organizations, a role that reflected her deep compassion and generous heart. Her work was more than a job—it was a calling she embraced wholeheartedly. She also spent many years as a valued employee at George Webb's Restaurant, where she built lasting friendships and became a familiar face in the community. Most recently, she worked at Amazon, continuing to bring her strong work ethic and positive energy to everything she did. Tammy's zest for life extended beyond her career. She loved connecting with people online and enjoyed going live on TikTok with her BP family, a community where she shared laughter and joyful moments. A devoted fan of 2Pac and proudly obsessed with Shemar Moore, Tammy's passions were as bold and unique as she was.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her deeply: her sisters, Kimberly (Bryon) Mikell, Elisha Cochran, Anna Dexter, and Joanna Werth; her brothers, Michael Cochran, Harland Werth, and Jonathon Werth; her stepsisters, Traci Hernandez and Tania (Matthew) Kontny; and her stepbrother, Benji Hernandez. She is also survived by her stepmother, Susan Cochran; her stepdaughter, Aphrodite Baker; her grandson, Stephano; her goddaughter, Adajha Demars; her cousins, Jason (Sonia) Cochran, Amanda Cochran, and James McCurdy; her longtime friend and partner, Delavell Baker; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her cherished soul dog, Layla. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Michael Cochran; her mother, Regina Werth; her grandmother, Lydia Cochran; her grandfather, Glen Cochran; her uncle, Harry Cochran; and her aunt, Donna Holman.

Tammy Lee Cochran's legacy is one of joy, resilience, and love. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.
