Terrance Lee
Otwaska
Jun 24, 1947 — Aug 12, 2016
Racine – Terrance Lee Otwaska, 69, known to all as Terry, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016. He was born in Racine on June 24, 1947, son of the late Edward and Virginia (nee: Jacobsen) Otwaska.
Terry was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved perch and walleye fishing on Lake Michigan. Terry also loved deer hunting, be it gun or bow, and Necedah was one of his favorite hunting destinations. Terry also would help anyone that was in need of help. He was "Mr. Fix-it" and could work on just about anything, whether a car or a home improvement project. Above all, Terry loved being with his family and friends. He had a tremendous laugh that could light up a room. Terry could tell a joke better than anybody and would have everyone in tears laughing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Terry leaves to cherish his memory, his longtime companion, Jean Mandernack of Racine; son, Kerry (Stacy) Otwaska, of Wyocena; step-daughters, Sheila (Sam) Fiore, Tammy (Tom) Knaus, all of Racine; grandchildren, Lorin, Hunter, Briar, Taylor, Ava, Joey, Olivia; great-grandsons, Jonathan, Dominic; siblings; Tom (Linda) Otwaska, Susan (Jim) Phipps, John (Kathy) Otwaska; brother-in-law, Ray Bullis; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and good friends too numerous to mention.
In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his brothers, Edward "Butch" Otwaska, Mike (Carol) Otwaska; and sister Mary Bullis.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016, 3:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been directed to the family.
The family would like to extend a big "Thank You" to the staff at WFH-All Saints for the love and care given to Terry during this difficult time.
