Theresa Ann Hawkins, 45, passed away at WFH – All Saints and was called home by God on Saturday, September 11, 2010.

She was born in Racine on March 30, 1965 to the late Robert Daymond and Annie Marie (nee: Lewis) Petty, Sr. On March 17, 1988, she married Bruce Hawkins.

Theresa was a member of Zoe Outreach Ministries. She loved life and enjoyed playing cards and singing karaoke.

In addition to her husband Bruce, she is survived by her daughter, Tanesha Hawkins; grandchildren, Damario, Damiah and Dakaila; sisters and brothers, Brenda Petty, Billy Ray (Victoria) Petty, Sr., Pearlette Petty, Wileen (Roosevelt) Sims, Robert Petty, Jr., Vanessa (Eric Robinson) Petty, Stanley Edward (Ramona) Gates; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, a host of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Tyrese Brown.

Her Homegoing will be celebrated at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Melvin Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation in the church on Thursday from 10-11 a.m.
